| Nomex®
Tubing of this high
temperature-resistant aramid has paper many unique
properties. It is spirally wound using a specially
formulated adhesive. Nomex® exhibits excellent tensile
strength which allows it to be fabricated by punching,
curling, or flaring.
Nomex®
can be combined with other substrates such as polyester
or Kapton® to solve unique insulation problems.
It is completely inorganic.
Extremely economical and
functional, Nomex® is approved in UL systems with
operating temperatures to 22OOC. Applications include
coil form insulation, bushings, spacers and crossover
insulation in electrical motors.
