TUBE™
This is a polyester end cap
that is two tubes in one. The inner tube is 3 mil 50% heat
shrink film. The outer tube is non-shrink polyester film.
When heat is applied the inner tube shrinks down to the
termination, the outer tube remains as a protective shell.
There are a few advantages to this product: for example,
you will save money because the non-shrink film is more
cost effective; it is cosmetically appealing since the outer
tube remains smooth after heating; it is more durable with
a 50% increase in puncture resistance; and an increase of
25% in dielectric strength.
